A Running Adventure

About this time tomorrow I will be in route on the biggest running adventure  in my short running history to date.

Oh yeah, and this is what I get to look at while I’m running.  🙂

This Running Adventure will consist of:

  • 6 Runners
  • 2 awesome volunteers
  • Several gallons of water drank
  • Countless memories
  • 1 monstrous hill (Galena Summit is 8,707 feet in elevation)
  • 12 + hours straight of running
  • 62 miles Ran
  • And 1 hell of a party at the finish line

We start the glorious Sawtooth Relay race in Stanley, Idaho at 5:45 am on Saturday morning where our first leg leads us off into our 62 mile journey.

Each runner will run 2 legs estimating about 5 miles per leg over the course of the 62 mile race.

We will reach our final destination in the beautiful and infamous Sun Valley, Idaho. This prestigious place is known for its ritzy way of life and over abundance of vacationing movie stars.

All I know about this race is that no matter what I will be running roughly 10 miles in one day. That is definitely a personal distance for me. I’m excited and scared. The goal over the next few days is to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

I appreciate all your well wishes and know that Team: Professional Beer Run is going to make you proud. We have heart, we have spirit, and god knows we will have beer (at the end).

See you tomorrow for a really unique Fruity Friday! 😉
