10 Mile Homework

It’s that time of year, you know… school is back in session.

I’m definitely not enrolled in classes, but that didn’t stop me from having homework.

So complete with my backpack, I was ready to finish my homework, and early at that!

10 miles of homework that is!

I dressed for running success and headed out for my long run last night.

Due to the fact that I will be in Las Vegas rocking out at my friend’s wedding this weekend, I had no clue how I was going to fit this long run in my schedule.

So I decided to just get it over with, rather then let it loom over me all weekend. Good choice, me thinks! 🙂

I won’t say that I completely schooled the run, but I should at least get extra credit for completing it after working all day!

Yes, extra credit should be earned indeed!

I finished 10 long miles and I was so relieved when it was all over!

Out take?

Or maybe I was just really really excited to have finished 10 miles!

Overall I would give the run a B+ at best, though I’m really just happy that I did it!

Happy Long Weekend friends! Back on Tuesday to recap on my crazy Vegas shenanigans!

Would you even fathom doing a long run after work to make more free time during your weekend?

  1. I’m not a fan of the long run AFTER work, but as you know I make a habit of fitting it in before work occasionally. 🙂 Glad you got it done! Now have an awesome time in Vegas!!!

  2. Good job on getting it done!! I’m all messed up with my training schedule so this week has been kind of wacky. I’m thinking of doing a repeater (AGAIN! errr) of this week.

  3. Great job!! I would totally do it after work to keep the weekend free but I don’t think I could do more than 10 after work. Have a great weekend!

  4. With few exceptions, I run most of my weekday runs after work. My weekend long runs are usually in the morning. Have fun in Vegas this weekend, and best of luck to the happy couple!

  5. Definitely get extra credits for this run. I am so bad at running after a work day, I don’t do it anymore. Can’t even imagine running 10 miles after work but you did it: great job!
